The occurance rate of supernovae in the observable universe is about 60 Hz (200 billion galaxies at 1 supernova every 100 years per galaxy).

60 Hz is also the frame rate of the background animation.

For musicians who prefer frequencies expressed as notes (lol): 60 Hz = B1
